Blake P. Mitchell, PhD
Dr. Blake P. Mitchell began his local practice in June 2006 and currently has an office in Frisco, Texas. In his private practice, Dr. Mitchell specializes in individual counseling and assessments, as well as a variety of forensic services including individual counseling, evaluations and consultation. He lives with his family in Frisco, Texas.
Prior to the move to Frisco in 2006, Dr. Mitchell was an active duty officer and a psychologist in the United States Navy from 2002 to 2006. While in the Navy, Dr. Mitchell served as a psychologist at The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for two years and then transferred to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), an aircraft carrier stationed in Everett, Washington for the remainder of his service. He enjoyed a variety of experiences including training at a world-class hospital in NNMC and two deployments on board the USS Abraham Lincoln.
Dr. Mitchell strives to provide individuals with the highest quality of psychological services–psychotherapy, testing and consultation–within the context of a respectful, comforting and open relational environment. He consistently seeks to meet the unique needs of each individual and to provide hope and healing during times of distress and to celebrate in times of recovery and success.
